Following customer feedback we launched the MotorAid Car Care Plan with clear, added benefits. The scheme is designed to be straightforward, without complicated small print. You stay in control of your account with us: you can cancel at any time and have funds credited back if you sell your vehicle.

Dedicated care plan options sit alongside our workshop work for Mercedes-Benz, smart, Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, MINI and Porsche—ask a service adviser how a plan could fit your car and mileage.

Benefits

MOT tests for plan customers at £20 (usual price £45—confirm current plan terms when you join). Free collection and delivery where offered as part of the plan, free courtesy cars subject to availability, and payments spread through the year so bills are easier to manage. The plan is intended to apply to servicing, maintenance and MOTs, plus body repairs as described when you sign up.

How it works

You set up a monthly payment by standing order—we suggest around £25 as a guide, but you can pay more or less; you remain in full control. Each payment is recorded on your account and accumulates. When you visit for a service, MOT or repairs, the balance is applied against the invoice.

If the invoice is higher than your balance, you settle the difference at the time of invoicing. If the invoice is lower, the remainder stays on account for future work or we can arrange to return the surplus to you. Set up the standing order to our account for your chosen amount and payment date—please use your MotorAid customer account number as the payment reference. Once activated you’ll receive a Care Plan card.

German-car care plans in Essex & London

Our care plans are built for flexibility compared with many main-dealer service plans, which can be restrictive: work outside the plan is often charged at maximum labour rates—in parts of Essex and London that can exceed £200 per hour. MotorAid’s approach is to help spread the yearly burden of bills while keeping you covered for a wider range of work, subject to the plan you choose.

All makes and models should be serviced in line with manufacturer guidelines; your vehicle will usually indicate when service is due. For care-plan and service timing advice, speak to our service advisers: Basildon 01268 591 558, Hainault 020 8172 0192.

Took my car here a few months back as the paint work was beginning to rust on one side, which was due to a poor job that had been done here a few years prior. However, I brought it back as it was still under warranty and the staff were more than happy to help & they got my car booked back in asap. I was supplied with a courtesy car in the meantime, which was very clean & lovely to drive. Upon receiving my car back in just under a weeks time, the job they did was fantastic and to a very high standard. It was obvious to me that they looked after my vehicle whilst it was in their care. Thank you to all the wonderful, friendly & helpful staff who made this process seem like no trouble at all, I really appreciate it :)
