Here at MotorAid, we care about your vehicle. We are a premier independent German car specialist. Manufacturer-trained technicians diagnose electrical & mechanical issues using equipment such as Mercedes-Benz’s XENTRY and BMW’s ICOM, to name a few. We have two dedicated car sites in Essex specialising in Mercedes-Benz / smart, BMW / MINI, Audi / Volkswagen (Škoda / SEAT) and Porsche.
Furthermore, MotorAid offers courtesy cars, collection and delivery, and we can drop you off at a local station.
Diagnostic process
Your vehicle will be connected to a diagnostics machine to read fault codes in any control modules. We then allow our technician up to one hour to explore these faults. It’s a common misconception that the computer will tell you what part to replace—unfortunately this is not the case, and it can often lead to misdiagnosis combined with unnecessary costs.
Your service advisor will then advise on our findings and the required action to fix your complaint.

Took my car here a few months back as the paint work was beginning to rust on one side, which was due to a poor job that had been done here a few years prior. However, I brought it back as it was still under warranty and the staff were more than happy to help & they got my car booked back in asap. I was supplied with a courtesy car in the meantime, which was very clean & lovely to drive. Upon receiving my car back in just under a weeks time, the job they did was fantastic and to a very high standard. It was obvious to me that they looked after my vehicle whilst it was in their care. Thank you to all the wonderful, friendly & helpful staff who made this process seem like no trouble at all, I really appreciate it :)
